Yes, I am aware that we are in the Lenten period and most places will have a seafood menu. However, I am looking for a solid seafood place in Baton Rouge to take a couple from out-of-town. Normally I would fight the crowd at Sammy (purely out of convenience and location), but probably looking for a place that 1. takes reservations, 2. will have fresh local seafood, and 3. price doesn't matter.

If it helps, Juban's is the prevailing thought. Thanks

What about Stroubes? They've always had a few fish entrees on the menu.

Mansurs or Galatoires are good choices. Ruffinos does seafood dishes well.

I'm with you buddy. Most overrated restaurant in BR. There are some things I like but its not worth all the hype (or the ridiculous waits).

I hope you're joking.
That may be the worst restaurant in Baton Rouge.
