Check your MR accounts. There is a 30% bonus to transfer MR to Etihad currently for me. 90K MR one way for Apartments? Yes please.
Also - since AA follows the pre-deval AA award chart pretty much to the dot, you could also get all those flights on AA for 70% off. RT to Europe & SA 2 for example 28K/70K/91K RT during off peak times

Just signed up for the Citi Double Cash card. My second-ever credit card, and twice the cash-back of my other one.

You could certainly do worse. 2% cash back is nothing to scoff at for an everyday card.

Received notification that approved for 70K. Says I will receive 60K after meeting spend. Email says please revert after meeting spend to receive additional 10K. What does revert mean in this context?

Reply back to that message and ask for the other 10k. They will need to manually add it once you hit the spend. The 60k will auto-post.

This is from AMEX MR to transfer to AA? 70k for biz class RT? Damn, makes me want to get another AMEX as I've never gotten MR before. Only AMEX I have ever had is SPG. I'm about to hit the $5k spend on that one and will have 40,000 SPG points though.
BTW, just got an email from Chase that they're depositing 10k points in my account as they just deposited the 60,000 today as well
ETA: just checked and I have 83k UR points from a card I just got in mid March. Nice

AmEx MR to Etihad to book flights on AA metal (using Etihad's partner award chart for AA)
Posted on 5/1/16 at 9:56 pm to AmeriKop45
Ahhh, I see. Before I ever book a flight again I am just going to email you and make sure I'm doing it right
I need to learn more about the other carriers and getting better deals to Europe. I have lots of AA and UA miles. I have a decent amount of AS. Is there a better way to go international with those miles or just stick to looking on UA and AA websites?

Much appreciated AmeriKop45!

For AA and AS yes because the websites don't show JAL, Cathay or Etihad (AA only) availability. And those are some of the best premium cabins out there. Use BA or Qantas websites for those. To find flights on the airline's own metal, I just use the airline's own websites.
For United, the website doesn't show Singapore premium cabin availability since most of the times those are waitlist only. Besides, you get a 15% discount when booking Singapore awards directly through the website. In general though, ua is a good place to search for star alliance availability.
Ofcourse you could also just use ExpertFlyer but that's a paid membership ($99/yr)

Matched to 70 Ink offer in 2 hours after SM. Haven't had a >100k UR balance in quite a long time. It would be really nice to be able to get a CSP right now.

Just did
Got approved for Citi Prestige last night. Unfortunately won't get a whole lot of value out of the 4th night free perk, but the airline credits essentially pay for the card. I wish I would've gotten the Premier when it had the bonus points.

How many bonus points were they offering for the citi Premier? And any speculation on how far down the road they may offer it again?
I just got the Citi prestige myself a few months ago.

I believe when they took it away it was 40k.
Not a good sign that they yanked the bonus completely. If they offer it again, very doubtful it will be 40k.

I'm an idiot. I didn't even check FT. Google got me again.
I'll definitely be grabbing the Premier here soon.
Etihad transfer partners offer some pretty great deals.
Mainly I'm thinking for using them on ANA.
Especially being able to combine family accounts and transfer in MR points.
