I love watching the right wingers of TD (which, let's face it, is 95% of TD posters) get their panties all a-twitter because a liberal dares speak his opinion.

Expressing an opinion...no problem. But this wasn't the appropriate forum. Costas wants to talk about this issue he should do it on his web page or in a political commentary section of a broadcast.

So a football halftime show isn't an appropriate time to talk about the Washington Redskins football team?

Regardless of what you or I think of Costas' opinion, I believe the Germans actually DO have something to do with this.

The subject has been in the news recently(this week, actually), and the network is covering the team in question. Also, regardless of my opinion or your opinion, Costas is generally respected as one of the best in the business among his peers, so I think he should be given a little latitude to express an opinion if he has one.

It was political than dealing with football per se. If Costas is this concerned let him express his opinion to the NFL.

It's laughable that some of you think that a network formerly owned by the world's largest defense contractor and now owned by one of the largest media corporations around is pushing a "liberal agenda."

And if they are, the only reason they are is because THEY ARE A CORPORATION AND THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE MONEY. Or is that only the excuse when corporations do things you agree with?

BOOM!

Dont know who is dumber the guy who posted this or Draconian for thinking it was a boom

Nobel invented dynamite - Yet gives away the peace prize

Ford invented the mass production of gas guzzlers - Yet its Foundation is ulltra lib and funds the Environmental Defense Fund

Your foundings dont dictate your direction, doofus

dumb to talk politics during a half time. I'd give it a pass due to bring sorta football related if dude didn't have a history of it.

It's very very much a football issue.

And if you don't understand that MSNBC is "liberal" because it was a BUSINESS DECISION to brand itself as an alternative to Fox News, then you are a bigger ideological douche then I imagined.

You probably think that Obama personally told Comcast's CEO to tell Bob Costas to say that.

Grown men offended by the reasonable opinions of others. Pussification America.

Quit being such babies. It's just a name. If it changes, let it go. If it doesn't change, let it go.

To be fair, you could apply this to the minority wanting the change as well. You can't tell one side to not voice their displeasure and let the other side go"unimpeded" and voice all they want.

Question: let's say, hypothetically, that NBC pushed liberal points of view because it was of significant financial benefit to them. Would you have a problem with it?

Pretty sure NBC gives him the weekly forum to talk about current issues in the NFL. Don't agree with Costas? Fine, don't watch the segment. But I don't see the point in getting upset with a guy for doing what his boss tells him to do.

Sports are usually inane, which is awesome since so many political hacks like this d#ckpile have a stage now. It's nice to have an escape.

Occasionally it's wildly transcendent...like I dunno

Please just stop trying to convince us how important you are Bob.
