Need a solid place to eat late Friday night for a group of 15 and I don't have much experience with New Orleans restaurants.

Things to consider:
- we don't drink, so alcohol selection is irrelevant (I know I can't be trusted, sounds boring, holy roller, how are you supposed to have fun, blah blah blah, whatever)
- probably won't get there til like 9-9:30pm so they need to be open late
- ability to make a reservation would be nice
- would rather it not be a chain, something unique to NOLA would be super
- group consists of a bunch of guys that like to eat, so decent portion size would be good too (inb4homo...it's the end of a bachelor party, jerks)

With that in mind, I have already looked at the following: NOLA (by Emeril), Mosca's, Tony Angello's, Cochon and Cowbell. The last 2 are still possible but all I have to go on are (possibly fake) Yelp reviews. A friend mentioned Dickie Brennan's but I'd rather give everyone the option not to spend $50+ if possible.

My last resort is going to be scattered, covered, smothered, chunked and diced at Waffle House.

you're not going to fit a group of 15 into cowbell, so throw that one out

You might get better answers on the Food board. Also, there is a dining guide full of TDers reviews of restaurants LINK

So what can you blame those awkward trips to the strip clubs on now?

And obviously the best option out of that motley bunch is Cochon, by about a million miles.

Man, the only answer for this used to be the Hummingbird Grill. I sure miss that place...

Bayona
American Sector
Broussard's
Chophouse
Capedeville
The Grill Room,
Delmonico,
Dijon, Luke,
Pascal's Manale
Ralph's on the park
Red Maple restaurant
RioMar
Tomas Bistro
Red Gravy
One Restaurant Lounge

all have openings for a nine-top. Go to Opentable and make a reservation. Any place is going to want one to expect nine people.

American Sector may be a good choice, as it's a John Besh restaurant with inexpensive meals.
Menu (pdf)

RioMar is a very good Spanish and Latin Seafood restaurant. LINK

Ralph's on the Park is good as well, and is on City Park ave. LINK

Nothing I listed is a chain.

Changing my mind.

I think your group should go more casual.

Deanies Seafood. You boys can stuff yourselves at a reasonable price. I would think they would easily be able to accomidate your #.
