I can honestly say, I was in college once. I saw bar fights, I saw college kids make stupid decisions, and I saw good kids pay the price for those stupid decisions.

I didn't start hating LSU when SuperJ got another chance, and I didn't start hating when HB7 got another chance so I won't start now.

I hope the young man gets a chance to redeem himself, on and off the field.

12 game suspension- kick his arse to the curb. He is only sorry because his arse is caught. Send him on his way.

Hills lawyer made a deal with the judge that if he plead guilty, no jail time and extended probation, anger management class, and community service. He will be reinstated and probably miss tcu. This was told to me by 2 separate sources very close to the program.

When the judge and Hill's lawyer were out on the golf course playing the back nine on a $2 ex parte Nassau.

It doesn't matter who he is. He's a STUDENT-athlete. He's just a sophomore in college. We've all done stupid things in our lives regardless. I believe he knows (at least I hope he does) he cannot do anything else again. Sometimes these are the sort of things to help people grow. Sometimes they don't. I won't ridicule a guy for throwing a punch at someone who may or may not have deserve it. Was it dumb? Yes. Now he knows he's on a very VERY short leash. Hopefully he learns from this and won't be so quick to resort to using his fist because someone pisses you off. Let's remember that many of these players are young adults as I am myself. We have ALL made mistakes at some point or another regardless of who we are.

Posted this in the other thread:

In the minority here, but also old enough to probably be the father of 99% of the posters in this thread, I would permanently remove him from the team. This type of behavior is not needed on LSU athletic teams.
