Small potatoes in the big scheme of things, but entirely INDEFENSIBLE any way you look at it. Whatever Les decides, I can live with it. I'll save my outrage and my angst for more substantive outrages. If he plays GREAT, if not, he can blame himself.

I don't know about the charge just bc I'm not familiar with simple battery but I completely agree with your last sentence. His lawyer and him would of had to be the most stupid people to try and fight a simple battery with all the evidence (video) and being on probation.

Pretty much this. I said no way before but after seeing the video, it looks worse. I was thinking the guy was talking shite to him then he hit him. He had to chase him down to hit him. I can understand a brief moment of bad judgement with somebody in your face. He had time to decide against this. Don't think he deserves jail time, but his future with the team will be more acceptable after seeing this.

This is by far the worst part of the whole thing.
Truly disappointing and shows his lack of concern for the situation given that he is on probation, there is a camera in his face, and his pal just completely blind sided the guy like a bitch.
Shows he is stupid and pretty much not a good guy imo.
