Haven't heard of it but I'm guessing it's made to compete with the Yeti.

Seems to be much cheaper and I have a couple of pelican cases and they are absolutely indestructable.

Can't comment on pelicans but the Orca used this weekend didn't quite stack up to a yeti right beside it of similar size. Could just be because the orca was the one with my beer in it.

a buddy sank his bay boat in the gulf, pelican cooler tied down to the center console with a strap. The pelican cooler kept the boat afloat under the water for 2 1/2 hours until they got rescued. He said he'd never ever buy another outrageous overpriced cooler from anybody but pelican cooler. Their beverages were still ice cold too after that.

Those Orcas look an awful lot like the Yetis. Or, maybe its the other way around.

Either that boat has some flotation in the walls or somewhere, or that was a huge arse cooler

If this is true he should let pelican know and he probably wouldn't ever have to buy another cooler as long as he lived...

A Yeti would have never allowed the boat to go under in the first place just by it's sheer awesomeness.....

I saw they started making them but have yet to put my hands on one. i own a few of the pelican storage boxes and those things are damn near indestructible.

A pretty good spec. comparison between the Pelican and Yeti. I think if i break down and buy a high priced cooler it will be a Pelican. I own a couple of there gun cases and they are hard to beat.

Perlicans are heavy and bulky as hell to me.

I own more Yeti's than probably anyone on this board, but K2 is my new cooler. Their newest design is the fo shizzle.

Superior is a stocking distributor. They seem nice. Almost as nice as my Yeti's.

better latches, warranty, components, and handles than yeti and more room inside all while being cheaper. Only downside is they are a little heavier but that isn't a problem usnless your a pussy

From a scientific standpoint, it's not totally absurd. I take "afloat under the water" to mean that it was able to reach neutral buoyancy. The weight of passengers would keep it just below the surface. Also, the sidewalls, if hollow, would still trap some air, providing added buoyancy.

As much shite as I give Chad, what's he's saying is definitely feasible. It would allow you to stay within the walls and give a base to keep you from treading.
