Someone posted on a suggested book about baking bread recently but I can't find the thread. Can anyone direct me? I want to start doing some home made breads from pizza to baguettes.

This. His Crust and Crumb and his Apprentice books are perfect for anyone interested in baking bread.

And if you want to try something really cool and easy google Jacque Pepin "bread in a pot." really works and is easy. I make it often.

I like Pepin's Bread in a pot too. A good reason to have a boiler with metal handles you can put into the oven

Many good books out there, Crust and Crumb made stops in the bread aisle a rarity for me. I bought it 4 or 5 years ago and my understanding of the process improved dramatically.

Unfortunately the health effects of eating all natural homemade bread are offset by the calories of eating all natural homemade bread.
