Getting hitched on Saturday boys... will be at the bourbon orleans this afternoon, any places with in short walking distance from there to eat thats pretty good? I'm trying to stay away from the tourist infested stuff around there if at all possible.

Despite your poor choice of wearing shorts considering you're a grown adult man going out to eat .. it's the French Quarter and it's hot outside. They're not going to turn you away.

Nothing wrong with wearing shorts at a restaurant.

I'm not condoning it at a place with $25 entrees but I wear shorts all the time out to eat.

They might enjoy Stanley. Johnny's poboys is good and casual.

I haven't been to Coop's Place, but many people seem to enjoy it for a casual restaurant.

I've also never eaten at the Royal Oyster House, but I know some folks who have who liked it. It's right there where you are. Oysters are supposed to be very good there.

There were a lot of people at Mr. B's in shorts for lunch when I was there last month.

Restaurants in the FQ typically have tourists, so no way to really get around that.

Wink, R2R can't help it. He has needs.

Also, most everyone in the Bourbon House for lunch was very casually dressed when I ate there last month including us. We were all in jeans.

Wearing pants during the day in Nola during the summer is a tourist move

I was going to list that, but I haven't heard a lot about it since Debarr left. How is it.

The Jeans: Just regular blue jeans, but I wear a lot of nice jewelry.
