The strawberry from the SnowBALL stand on the corner of Airline and Roosevelt in Kenner.
By far the best snowball in the city. You need to try it.
Much better than Hansen's or PLum street.

Casey's Snowballs is my go-to place.

Momentary hijack. If you can acquire some of the nectar syrup then do this with it. Ice cream(vanilla) in a mug(enough to satisfy you) add two TBSP of nectar syrup, then fill the glass with club soda. A most tasty treat for the summer heat.

Several people told me the same thing, and I went over and tried it. Meh. The ice was hard and crunchy, the strawberry (and wild strawberry, I tried 'em both) was nothing special. To each his own....but I'll stick to cardamom and cream of coffee at Hansen's.
