I think Mack Brown should retire, they lost out on Muschamp, and the team will only get worse.

I personally think, with the right HC and staff, that Texas could be a major threat to us for LA talent. I wouldn't go as far as a pipeline but they could be a threat in the Bama sense. Texas has more money to spend on recruiting and a lot to offer future scholar athletes. Maybe good enough to steal a guy or 2 here and there. We'll win most battles just like with Bama but they could definitely make life harder on us in recruiting LA.

This is the year to claim that... there are enough good LA kids to take some that LSU doesn't and still claim a pipeline
This will be more obviously a lie (or massive over-statement) in the following years when there's less elite talent in Louisiana

Yeah there are definitely some quality players outside the top 15 in Louisiana that will be steals for out of state programs.
