Loading everything up to start setting in the morning. The weather looks good so it should be on this week.

I've got 10k acres of new ground that's supposed to be loaded with varmints. I haven't had a chance to scout it so setting may go a little slow tomorrow I hope I can get out at least 25 sets out.

I'll keep ya'll updated.

Sweet. Look forward to these threads.

Look out for hogs and dillos. They will attack.

With the moon like it is, it should be a good night for trapping.

Took a game mammals class at ULM fot my 400 level biology elective. Best class i ever took. We got to go out and trap coyotes, beavers, nutria, etc. Highlight of the year was blowing up beaver dams.

Would love to start doing this. I have about 1k acres that I'd love to thin the coyotes on and could prob aquire more land.

I looked into it but just don't know how to prepare the hides

I'm surprised the poster hardhead hasn't chimed in.

That boy is a trappin' fool...

We caught a coon one time and took it to the local pelt buyer and the guy said it was the biggest coon he had ever seen. Said pelt buyer is one of the biggest distributors of traps and accessories in the state. That says a lot.
