My son has a Franchi Semi-auto 20 gauge. It is a very nice shotgun.

My wife had a Franchi 720 with walnut stock. It was a really nice gun. I wanted to keep it for my 3 boys but she said she bought it before we were married and it was hers and she made me sell it.

I bought my son a Benelli Montefeltro and he loves it. Last year Benelli put out a special package that came with a youth stock and a full size stock for about $950. This is a gun he or she will have the rest of their lives. Perfect dove hunting gun and he also uses it duck hunting with the 3" shells. You can still find the package deal on Gunbroker.

Bass pro shops also had this package you might try calling the one in Nashville or Birmingham.
