maybe. It's been said, it's not a great beer, but a pretty good everyday beer that you can have several of and not tire of it IMO.

Haven't tried it yet but hoping it's a least decent, seems there's been some mixed reviews here. Grabbed at 6 pack at the Calandro's on Perkins, they had about 2-3 cases left if anyone was looking.

Better than Nola blonde and Abita Amber IMO. Which are both good beers for BBQs Mardi gras, tailgating etc

the consensus about Canebrake seems to be:

- the beer nerds think it's a decent beer .. better than most Louisiana offering .. but nothing extraordinary.

- the mouth-breathing rednecks who are trying to branch out from their comfort zone for the sake of not looking like mouth-breathing rednecks say they "don't get the hype; I'd rather just stick to Miller Lite cuz it's cheap."

Got 2 6 packs at calandros just now. They have 1 case left and won't be getting anymore in for a couple weeks, I was told.

I know how many I'll be buying, 0. It's ok, but nothing great, imo

It's one of the best, if not the best, breweries Louisiana has to offer. The other beers they are going to be putting out are great. I am going to stop by Calandros and pick up a sixer just to help support that brewery.

I picked up a sixer of this and Tin Roofs Voodoo Bengal Pale Ale on Friday afternoon. I didn't really think it had much flavor after the first one but drank a few more and I can definitely appreciate it for what it is. Really smooth with a slightly sweet finish, will purchase again. Like many have said I drank a few and didn't get tired of it, and I couldn't really come up with another beer I would compare it to.

Off topic I'm a fan of the Voodoo Bengal Pale Ale too.

and we'll likely see less positive commentary about its quality accordingly
