The elimination of individual exemptions and capping SALT deductions at $10k has my effective tax rate increasing by about 1.5%. We’ve always itemized and will again this year so the standard deduction increase didn’t do anything to help us. ...

I just went down alligator bayou road and there was still a small flow into bluff swamp/spanish lake so that will need to stop first. Fortunately, it was limited to a small area at the lowest point. Dpw made use move as they were bringing all the large equipment past us....
