Cafe des Artistes Puerto Vallarta. A fantastic menu, setting and occasion combined for the best dining experience I've ever had.

That's a tough question, but the one that stands out is...

Nick and Sams

Shared the 48 oz Porterhouse with my dad and a couple of his clients. One of the best steaks I have ever had

Lobster mac and cheese and other sides were phenominal as well

From start to finish I would say the omakase menu at o ya in Boston was tops for food. Not the best dining experience but for food.

I went solo while on a business trip so that takes away from it as a dining experience. Also most expensive dinner for me. Including sake it was $248 before tip just for me. I used most of my food budget for the trip on that one meal.

Daniel in NYC.

Had 7 course tasting with wine pairing and some other small plates and it was the most phenomenal meal I've ever been a part of.

Honorable mentions: Restaurant Revolution in Nola, Public in NYC, Epsilon in Monterey, CA

The best experience and meal has to be at Bar Boulod in NYC. My wife's friend took us there as a wedding present. She was dating someone that worked there at the time and we sat for five hours and food and drink kept coming out, it was fantastic.

I had dinner at Masa in SF the night I got married. Ron Siegel was the chef at the time and it was a once in a lifetime combo of occasion, food, and wine that will likely never be topped.

I'll get blasted by the FB snobs but my wife and I did a private chef's table at Victoria & Albert's in Disney World a few years ago. The single best dining experience I've ever had. Once he found out we were from Louisiana he started rolling out seafood dish after seafood dish. The best was his version of seafood stuffed red bell peppers topped with a basic crab imperial sauce. He sided it with roasted rosemary fingerling potatoes. Just a really good overall experience.

Best for food was solo meal at Nobu in NYC. Wife and I were in town for the US Open tennis tournament and she had a broken foot at the time and was too sore and tired to go out. I wasn't wasting that reservation. Just incredible. First time I had tried monkfish liver.

Most fun was my 30th birtthday party where about 60 people had Clancy's to ourselves all night.
