I'm withholding judgement on this one until the big boys have some conference play under their belt. Let's see who gets it done when the competition gets tougher.

Mclemore is a bad arse and he might be the best player and the best future pro. Withey is awesome collegiately and the only big outperforming him is probably plumlee. Zeller is better but hasnt quite outplayed withey this far.

McDermott is good and will get some accolades. I actually think frickig plumlee has been the best so far and that's annoying to me.

Kelly Olynyk > Kevin Pangos

But both are good.

I am seriously going to say Dundreceous Nelson of Jackson State.

Check out his stat page: LINK

He is a transfer who just became eligible, but is already lighting up the stat sheet.

He ranks 1st in the nation in offensive usage and total usage, and 4th in personal offensive efficiency scoring 25 points per 60 possesions he is out on the floor.

He also draws 7.6 fouls per 40 minutes and 6.21 fouls per 60 offensive possesions he is on the floor. He attempts 13.06 free throws per 60 possesions he is on the floor, best in the country.

He also ranks in the Top 250 nationally in Assist Rate, with 4.69 assists per 60 offensive possesions he is on the floor.

He has done all of this against a tough schedule, with Jackson State playing all of their games so far on the road.

To cap it all off he ranks 1st nationally in Game Score, a formula used to measure how many points on offense and defense a player is worth per 120 game possesions. He is worth 37.71 points, tops in the country.

Needless to say, he is a hoss.

Yep and you'll see why in next two months

I almost took Craft, but Hardaway is better athlete and smoother.

Alan Williams of UC Santa Barbara deserves a mention. He might not be the best player, but is by far the player most valuable to his team.

He ranks in the Top 25 nationally in Total Usage, Personal Offensive Usage, Personal Total Usage, Personal Offensive Efficiency, and Total Rebounding Percentage. Last year he led the nation in Offensive Rebounding Percentage as a freshman. This year he is 27th nationally in offensive rebounding percentage, but is bound to go up the charts as he plays weaker teams in conference play.

All while UC Santa Barbara has played the toughest schedule in the nation.

Did you look at his stat page? The only players in the nation that score more points per 60 possesions that they are on the floor are Doug McDermott, CJ McCollum, and Kelly Olynyk.

He obviously isn't the best player, but his stats are pretty impressive so far.

He has no offense at all.

He does rank in the Top 100 in Assist Rate and Assist/Turnover Ratio.

He is strictly a point guard who doesn't shoot and a defensive key. Even then he only averages 1.75 steals per 60 defensive possesions, which ranks 529th nationally.

Hardaways problem is that he can't shoot, and he thinks he can.if he attacked the basket more I might agree with you.

Deshaun Thomas is a beast.

We are talking about a guy who has played 5 games at Jackson State who was at OM before he got kicked off the team.

He is shooting 30 percent from the field and has more turnovers than assists, man.
