Buy I'm in Texas

I've got a local store that may be able to order it. I've got a couple other bottles to finish first though. Mrs. LST is tolerant of me stockpiling beer, I don't want to push my luck with bourbon too. I have Maker's, 1835 Texas, and Blanton's now to work on, but Elmer T Lee or Four Roses will be next

Just start stockpiling the bourbon instead, it'll last longer

Though Most bars won't stock it, makers and knob are a decent alternative

This thread was all the way back on pg 5....needed to get something going...

Found some WL Weller 12 at the Rouses in the CBD, looking forward to trying it to see if it drinks like a $40 whiskey...it was $23 off the shelf there...

Think I'm going scotch early. Pretty day deserves a little scotch.

Drank a good bit of this last night with my new ice ball. The sphere mold worked pretty well in producing a nice ball of ice. I need to play with the amount of water I put in I think. But it melted MUCH slower and kept several drinks chilled.

FYI anyone wanting to try Pappy, Mansurs had the 12,15, 20 & 23 at the bar. I don't remember all the prices but the 12 was $25 and the 23 was $65...

How did the spheres work? I got two 4 sphere Maker's Mark molds from a buddy-in the freezer but haven't broken them out yet.

I would know about the 15 and 20, but someone else bought them for me. I couldn't bring myself to have a 23 at that price.

Bbrou33, I have a pair of ice molds, same brand as yours. The key is to use bottled water and freeze them inside a Ziploc bag. If it freezes inside the bag, the ice does not take on the smell of whatever you have in your freezer, and your ice balls will be clear and not cloudy.

It is very important for your ice balls to be clear.
