I have been running 310.70 since the release but installed the new 310.90 on release 1-7 and can't keep them stable. Also with the new beta drivers every time I restart I need to re-install the drivers. lol
So saying all this I switched back to the 310.70 drivers.

This is what pisses me off about Intel. Yes, the sensible thing to do is wait unless you're doing a budget build, but they tend to phase out sockets that were supposed to be ideal upgrade paths. I remember when socket 1366 was all the rage for about 3 months.

Yea, they are on a 2yr plan. Only good thing about AMD is that they are staying with the same socket for 5yrs some reports say.
I don't plan on upgrading to 1150, IDT.. but you never know. My next socket will be 2011 Ivy-E.

IDK how much it will help.
My 3570K and 2 x 670 4GB out scored my damn 3770 and 690.
The 670s and 3570K I could push but can't push my current set up. I get better FPS in game with the 690 over the SLi 670 though.

I installed the new Drivers too. I need to bench mark and seen where I'm at and I might revert back to the last ones.I was also trying to get my CPU to 4.0 last night but it couldn't handle prime95 for more than an hour. I'll mess around with voltages tonight and try and get it stable. Then I might post a new score

I haven't bench marked with the new drivers yet. I might do that this weekend. My score is being kept down because of communication between the CPU and GPU, I know that.

Yeah 310.90. After I installed them my nvidia system tools no longer work. I've tried to uninstall it and it gives me some sort of error. Same as when I try to reinstall it. I don't really like using the third party GPU over clocking tool either. Seems like they're not as accurate when I check them with gpu-z

Also drivers are the hardest thing to truly uninstall. I can post a couple of guides on completely uninstalling nVidia drivers when i get home. Have the links on my home computer.

Yes sir I am. I used driver cleaner pro and ccleaner to try to get rid of everything. I tried some random tutorials I found and nothing has worked so far.

so I ran the benchmark.. and the results made me cry, so I'm good, but you guys carry on.

Dude I just ran 3DMark on my ATPC and the damn thing was about to die. I was getting 6-11FPS with a modest OC.
None the less it failed on the last test.

This is as high as i'm going to go. I have no clue how stable it at the moment but i'm going to run prime95 tonight and hope it's still running when i wake up.
