I agree with this. I think Lewis is very underrated when it comes to his place with the all-time greats. Even with saying that, he still can't be considered top 3. I'd say somewhere between 5-7 and higher than Tyson.

My answer exactly. Also, as someone said earlier, he would be in the top 10, but not top 3.

Larry Holmes - not saying he was a once in a lifetime fighter, but he was "great." Twenty title defenses, people. TWENTY. Think about that for a little while.
Best jab in heavyweight boxing history. Arguably best jab in p4p history of the sport.

Lewis also won a gold medal in the Olympics. Beat up Riddick Bowe in Seoul for the gold. That has to count for something LL might not be top5 in popularity contests, but I have no doubt in my mind he'd beat Ali, Marciano, Dempsey, Johnson, etc 6+ times out of 10 He is easily top5 HW as far as a boxer goes

I'm not knocking your ranking of LL at all bro. I disagree, but see where your are coming from. He certainly belongs in the discussion.

Anyone putting Marciano in their top 5 need their head examined. For his time he was a well managed fighter who never fought anyone worth a shite. He would lose to a lot of current fighting no-name heavyweights. 1) Ali 2) Louis 3) Can put a lot of fighters here. Foreman is underrated because he lost to Ali. Check out Foreman Lyle if you want to see the greatest fight ever. Holmes is vastly underrated because he beat a 76 year old Ali and then ran into a brutal Tyson when he was 76.

All this talk makes me think about the old boxers my dad used to talk about. Doubt we'll ever see the return of a truely "great" heavyweight now with ufc being a popular avenue. I guess we'll have to stick to old hbo reruns and boxing documentaries.

Klitschko He could compete with any heavyweight from the past. If he fought in any other boxing era he would probably be top 5-7 all time.

Too young to watch Lennox Lewis in his prime?? You really think Marciano would beat him?

Never been tested imo. I could look as good as him if I didn't face competition. Just at 123 lbs
