RP was the best football player to come out of La in a long while.

I was never overly impressed with him.. His demeanor at practice, on the sidelines.. before and after games.. sent up some red flags for me.....

Agreed .
Saw Perrilloux once on the sideline and said immediately, "That guys will never pan out in D-1 or the NFL...".
It's pretty obvious , if you know what to look for ...

I'm pretty sure I just read an article that the giants cut him, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, he isn't in the NFL at the moment. I don't quite get it because he outplayed Carr in the preseason and looked pretty damn good.

Lester, you should stop defending Perilloux, it's disrupting nitwit's favorite pasttime, making vaguely racist comments about former LSU athletes.

Project,
I'm dying to hear about my "vaguely racist" posts...
I think you about to make my day!
I LOVE aggressively ignorant people!

Actually you're right, I had you confused with another poster. When I looked at your post history I realized why you stuck out to me. You're one of the flat out dumbest people on the Rant. I apologize for confusing you with a different moron.

Strong argument, Project. Can't argue with school ground name calling...
However, shouln't you be back critiquing a new series on the TV/ movie board?
They may miss you there...

What argument? I actually did get you confused with someone else.

I'm confused, am I supposed to be offended by this for some reason?

Sorry, Project.
The comments probably soared above your politically correct head.

Yes. Very highly rated, right on the heels of Antron Seiber being a big time prospect. Seiber went baseball though.

The biggest that I've seen were Kevin Faulk, Booty, Manning, Collins, and Perilloux. Fournette is getting up there with them though.

I don't mean just talent, I mean total hype around a guy.

Toefield was the #1 overall back that year until a a bad knee injury before his senior season. Never was the same after.

He didn't play his senior year (HS).
As a result, Dominick Davis,a near- contemporary probably made more national recruiting lists.

McKnight and Randle were both #2 on Rivals, but I don't remember them getting as much hype as Fournette.

Funny somone above said Josh Booty got way more run than Manning. I think it was the opposite, but maybe depends on where you are from, NOLA or No La.
