I mentioned Miley, he was the last first round draft choice out of hs. To come and play at LSU

Was drafted in the first round. Twice

It looks like some people do not understand the meaning of the word "touted".

Could be, but we will never know- there were no recruiting services in the 50's, video was almost non-existent, and let's face it- very little recruiting interest at the time by fans.

People don't understand what highly touted means. With the amount of internet recruiting coverage these days, we know about these kids freshman year of high school. Did professional athletes watch high school videos on youtube 10 years ago? More people in this country know about Leonard Fournette than any other high school prospect in the history of Louisiana football. /thread

We'll be revisiting this question when Dylan Moses gets close to graduation I'm sure.

Miracle Mike led EJ to their last Playoff win before this year's run.
Amazingly, there's one thing Butch Duhe, Mike Miley and Tommy Wilcox all have in common: all three were Coached by Willie Hof.

I am not reading the entire thread but Gary James was very highly touted... way more than Dalton H. who is my all time favorite running back to watch.
