I see a lot of hate for chains, most of it for good reason. But not all chains are bad. Do you have any you secretly or openly like? Mine are..

Carrabas has a few dishes I enjoy
When on the road I can always find a sensible meal at Chili's.

Honestly, I enjoy Chili's every so often. I know what it offers, but sometimes that's OK with me.

Chili's is waaay better than Applebees and some places.
I like PF chang's.
Hell I actually like a lot of the chains, I just wouldn't recommend them to out of towners

Bonefish Grill and Carraba's are both a cut above typical chains at an attractive price point.

The last two times I went to the Bravo near me I was pretty impressed. The food was pretty good and the service was well beyond your typical clueless kid just there to take and order and bring out food.

I like Zea also.

We went to D.C a few years ago and stayed in Restin, VA at the real Town Center.

Couple of the best damned places, chain or no chain, I've ever eaten at were:

Jackson’s Mighty Fine Food & Lucky Lounge - Friggin Lobster Roll is out of this world.

Uncle Julio's Rio Grande Café - blows away any Mexican food we have in town.

I work in Texas and it is loaded with great chain restaurants. Here's a few:

Rudy's BBQ
Corner Bakery Cafe (Founded in Chicago)
Torchy's Tacos
Taco Palenque (along the border, phenomenal fajitas for a fast/casual place)
Mighty Fine Burger (Austin only)

Others I enjoy anywhere:

Zea
PF Changs
Ruth's
Flemmings
Redstone Grill
Portillo's Foodservice (Chicago)
In and Out
