Saw that a new episode recorded Friday on my DVR! This is a show that I love to hate. I find myself pulling for the Japs every time.

I do not agree with whaling and feel it is horrible, but cannot pull for the idiots on Whale Wars.

Their incompetence is comical. They always frick up and the JApanese kill whales.

Can ANYONE explain international marine/maritime law? How can you try to disable a vessel in the middle of fricking nowhere??? And if the Japanese used their harpoon on the hippies would they be justified?

The morons pulled a classic twice. Tried to look at their prop or something out of dock in heavy seas and liftoff of helicopter in high winds.

International law in large part is a joke with little to no teeth. I'm not sure about the specific international maritime laws.

Too bad those tree huggers aren't interested in saving alligators, I would love too see some Sea Shepard tactics used in Bayou Sorrel.

They may be, I saw the Whale wars RV the other day on the I-10.

(note the train bridge at the driver side mirror, this pic was taken (in the rain) about to go under thr train bridge, past the Metaire road exit of I10.)

I saw something the other day. I want to say it was a promo for the new season. Anyway, the emo looking one was telling the Japanese that if they decided to resume whaling that they would be back. Like they were leaving the Southern Ocean because they successfully stopped the Japanese or something

At this point it is simply about the show. I cant fathom those people actualy having an effect on the global market that is certainly not going away.

I saw that this morning. How can you find a collection of people where everyone of them is so stupid? One of them said, "I am willing to risk my life to stop them killing whales."
And the announcer dude said, "The veteran small boat driver has the task of getting the divers close so they can get a look at the prop." Hell, he just drove them away from the boat and they jumped in.

The most disappointing part of this show is that it takes half of the season to find the Japs. And when they do they follow them. Wish the japs would kill another whale in front of them.
