Yeah. We lost. It was a TERRIBLE loss. It sucks.

Grow. The. Frick. Up.

The coach who got us to 13-0 and led this team to this point...doesn't now suck because we lost a game...regardless of how bad.

The program that on Sunday was the shining example of a football program on top of the world and ready to stay there for a while...didn't become dogcart because the offense was terrible in the title game.

MAn up people. The future is bright. The team next year will be a beast just like this one with the added plus of the four year QB nightmare being FINALLY over. The world did not end on Monday. The ridiculous attitudes (Bobby Hebert is a wonderful example) shown by a lot of our fans as a reaction to ONE FRIGGIN GAME is just selfish and stupid.

Ohio State fans didn't do this when they lost to us. Texas fans didn't do this when they lost to Bama. Oregon fans didn't do this when they lost to Auburn. We must have the highest percentage of total puss fans of anybody in the country. Good grief.

what are your thoughts on him giving up and quitting on the team during the game?

The door...you find it.

The man gave up on the biggest stage. There is no excuse for that. Hell at my job I could do good for 13yrs make perfect choices and one mistake at the highest level could find me unemployed quicker then I could blink.

Can we get a "I am embarrassed by our fans" page? Why do people post a thread about this topic at least 10 times a day?

it was a big game and it hurts more b/c it was the game to win. give it a few days and i think the spectacular nature of the reg season will bubble up for most of the fanbase. we've never lost the NC game before (or a world series final, either). only lost one SEC CC. it's hard to handle great reg season success and then lose the championshipo game.

And you have to realize there is a percentage of fans, mostly who never had to endure Curley and the last years of Dinardo, who want the coach fired after most losses. I don't know the percentages, but i would guess the younger fans comprise most of the internet board crowd and this is to be expected--no insult intended, just stating the obvious.

these are the glory days of LSU. we lost an opportunity to add a NC but the future is bright as long as the LSUnation doesn't devour itself.

i agree w/ most of what you said. Les was never the consummate 13-0 genius and he's not a buffoon, either. the perception of both extremes is not his fault. he's les. no more no less (bad pun)

Why? They aren't the ones responsible for the humiliating performance on Monday.

Agree completely....this board reads like a bunch of spoiled children throwing a temper tantrum in a wal-mart.

That and we have TD. Not sure of the numbers but this has to be the most or one of the most visited fan sites of any college program.

And nobody hollers when LSU lost to somebody if they put forth an effort, or if a truly better team wins.

Texas lost in a dogfight because they lost their starting qb (lucky) His replacement nearly pulled it out. Oregon lost in a squeaker...they played for 3 qtrs!. Ohio State was outclassed, but still showed up with points. All of them gave some account of themselves. There were no jokes about their bus leaving town.

We absolutely were without passion and preparation....the responsibility of a head coach. What was left un-claimed was the chance of a lifetime for athletes, fans, and a University. The record is forever. Twenty years from now a W/L in a book. What will only linger in the minds of some was the lack of effort to claim it, and to assert the promenince of a program. Every pre-season and throughout the fall this board is full of "we don't get no respect" posts. Guess why.
