re: What's the greatest/ most memorable play you've seen? - JustDooIt
No doubt a lot of greaqt ones. But for "clutch" plays, in 1973 at the fairgrounds stadium in Columbia S.C., Mike Miley, 4th and 10, falling to the ground...11 yards to sustain a drive. LSU 33-29 Don't neglect J Lee against Bama, 3rd and 13, 4th and 13. When it counted....

re: those of y'all revoking your fandom - JustDooIt
LSU could win the SEC, NC, feed the hungry, cure the sick...and someone on here would say they didn't score enough points. If you're with LSU, then get on board, support it, or get lost. Better yet, go to Florida where the bandwagon is alsways open....

re: I am thankful for Coach O - JustDooIt
Mike...thanks for the post. Despite the usual lack of reading comprehension skills displayed here regularly, many of us get it. CEO brought some respect back for many of us and indeed, for the first time in 5 years, I can wear Tiger garb in public here in Gumpland. They're still smug, but they're...

re: what has changed about LSU since you've been going to games - JustDooIt
Respect for one's opponent. No "see me" players pumping their chest after a good play. Hand the ball to the ref after a touchdown like you'd been there before. And it damn sure wasn't the "money" circus it is now. Doubt is you didn't live it you won't figure it out...drive those Camrys....

re: LSU lost a 2 point game to Wisconsin... - JustDooIt
Here's my favorite quote "I never saw this coming". Miles to astonished reporters after the 21-Eaux meeting with Bama in Jan '08. If you didn't figure him out 8 years ago, you won't. It's not about supporting LSU. It's about supporting a nice man who still doesn't get it and keeps us just out o...

re: Ranking LSU QBs All Strong Arms Teams - JustDooIt
Jamarcus...oh yeah, saw him throw 4 yards short of end zone on final play against Auburn....yeah he was a good one. And then there was Jones to Davis...look that one up. It prompted the State Legislature of the Great State of Mississippi, ah say, Mississippi to put up a sign "Entering Lousian...

re: How many people here know what its like to go to a bigtime college football game - JustDooIt
Ahh...the days when it was about the game...and fans were there to watch and support, not for nachos. Some of you missed the real deal. BTW, Tuscaloosa is the worst today for blaring speakers filled with crap (non-Bama biased opinion) frigging high school atmosphere...

re: Does anyone recall the 1971 game in Madison? 38-28 Tiger win over Wisconsin.... - JustDooIt
No snow. But campus was shut tight due to the "weathermen" or some such homemade terrorist of the day. The week before they'd blown up a class building or some such that housed program with govt ties. At a young age and economically distressed , my buddy and I had driven from NC with plan to catc...

re: Does anyone recall the 1971 game in Madison? 38-28 Tiger win over Wisconsin.... - JustDooIt
Yes. Woman next to me nudged her husband and whispered like she'd been raised next to the sawmill," Loooook, they're all white. Funny, years later, we're mostly black, they still have two. No intent about our players or race..just a note on their Wisc. hipocriscy...

re: Does anyone recall the 1971 game in Madison? 38-28 Tiger win over Wisconsin.... - JustDooIt
Loads of insults that day. Some "Y" woman going in our gate exclaimed in a loud voice, "OH NO, we're going to have sit over here with these Southerners!" I replied, cheer up some of it may rub off on you. Other comments during game that had nothing to do with football. The program had a banged ...

re: Wisconsin's write up on LSU's key players - JustDooIt
More p.r. from one of those "northern schools" still living on the 1940's hype of their fight song. The first time we played up there, their gameday program had some cartoony Tiger with an "LS-Who" on it. Lots of insults that day up until the final 38-28 by the Tigs. ( a score posted on the flat...

re: Looks like LSU Wisconsin ticket prices are in a freefall on the secondary market - JustDooIt
Hmmm?? First Wisconsin game I went to was the "largest crowd ever to see a sporting event in the state of Wisconsin". Ticket was $8. Of course it was 1971....
