your simple retort of "False" implies a probability they (NCAA) may not grant him a RS and , THAT, is false.

I love our fans. We are 2-0, ranked #3 in the country, our starting QB just completed 90% of his passes in the last game, we scored over 40 in both, the offense is running like a well-oiled machine which we haven't seen but once in the past 2 years, and we have people begging the legal system for special treatment to allow our #112 ranked QB from last year to come back? Unreal.
And if anyone saw the 2nd half Saturday and thinks JJ would warrant any playing time next year and take snaps away from Mett, then you really are clueless.

You have 5 years to play 4. There is nothing to ask. That is a given. If he had played a down, then yes, he would have to request a RS.

Right now it looks like the 2 options are ^this^ or the charges will be completely dropped.

I'm so glad you know exactly what's going on and are willing to share with the class.

"special treatment"? You mean the special treatment that will likely erase him starting his Senior year? Doesn't seem so special to me.
And, while we are on it, care to share with us (and BRPD, Lewis, etc.) the smoking gun proof you have that JJ is guilty?
Better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and erase all doubt......

...it is a formality to file paper work with the NCAA......that is the "asking" part of it. I know. I was RS.

That's really just certifying you are eligible. There is no chance of a normal redshirt being turned down, so you ain't asking.

junk funk.... again, we are at that cross roads of opinions.. JJ wont be back... u say he will, we shall see how it plays out, and of course everyone is entitled to thier opionion....even if yours is wrong.

hence the quotes ("asking")......
btw, I wonder if you good folks realize that a football scholly is year to year and not a guaranteed 5 years. it also has to be blessed by the NCAA yearly.

I'm sure there is a process the NCAA must go through to make sure schools aren't completely lying about someone not playing. For example, to make sure player X didn't actually play in 9 games when the school said he didn't play at all. But it is only a formality for someone that didn't actually compete, and obviously Jefferson isn't competing.

It's funny how retards on here expect Les to do whatever makes the fans happy... He won't. He's gonna do what's best for his team.
And guess what, JJ playing for this team in whatever form Les deems best is/will be the best for this team. And he will be back this year or next.
