This situation reminds me of a famous quote by Jake Gittes in Chinatown when he asks Noah Cross "Why are you doing it? How much better can you eat? What could you buy that you can't already afford?" Why is the SEC doing this? How much better can they get? What could the SEC schools buy with the extra revenue that they couldn't already afford before?

Is like the memorial student union? I walked in there with my hat on (not knowing the union was an offical memorial) and nearly got killed for it.

If FSU is a candidate for the east, they would have to work with the U to play a game against each other every year. That's not a big deal but has to be addressed. I figure if all of this is true, UM will say something regarding that.

If aTm is coming, that's 11 days away from this meeting. A lot can happen in 11 days. I don't think the Big 12-2 is gonna survive anyway but you know Beebe is looking for something to keep it all together. I hope aTm joins just to stick it to TU. But an official announcement is 11 days away. That's an eternity for that old Aggie money to sway things for those who don't want to leave.

FSU would balance TAMU out. However, if OU joins instead of FSU, Ala and Aub would move to the East. Either way, what a conference.

Only one of them would move, and it would be Auburn.

But I still say eliminate divisions and make sure all the traditional rivalries stay intact, and take the top two at the end and have 'em duke it out in Atlanta.

Okay really now how much does this make A&M think they will ever catch up to Texas.

And how likely will they ever Catch up to Texas.

Not really sure how that matters. Both the winning records and losing records. We haven't played most of the SEC teams in ages, and the ones we have historical rivalries with (LSU and Arky) are skewed from the fact that a large portion of those games were played when we were an all military school the size of the citadel.

Good workup though. Hope to increase the # of games vs very soon!

Just think, If we pick up Mizz and Clemson, we will have four teams with a "Tiger" as its mascot.

A&M's official stadium capacity is 82,300 but if you look at stadium records we put in about 88,000 for big games. We had over 90,000 for Nebraska last year.

And after this season we are starting renovation of the stadium

Thanks for the welcomes! Hope to see y'all soon
