First off I highly doubt the SEC will ask GT to come back. They had their chance in the conference. FSU would never get the votes to get in. NCST is just a stupid idea.

There is a reason that NEB, CU, and now A&M are leaving the Big XII--it wasn't about how KU runs their AD department.

Also, same reason Arkansas left the SWC.

You're right, it's because of Texas ruling over the conference like Joe Stalin. They were getting fricked out of money left and right. They had no power within the conference because whatever Texas said went.

I'm not familiar with how dirty the big 12 is so I'm gonna leave this alone. But if this is true, then Charles Robinson has been snooping around the wrong conference IMO.

Of those choices- I'd love to see FSU.

We've owed those guys some payback for quite a few years, now.....

I dont' have the want to read the previous 8 or 9 pages so I'll just say I hate this and hope it doesn't happen. I want the SEC to stay just how it is. All these corporate fat cats only care about money, which obviously an SEC expansion will bring in hand over fist. But it hurts the teams, it hurts the fans who go to the games, and it hurts the conference's ability to get teams in the title game.

"Sources said Thursday the SEC would be interested in adding Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech in addition to Texas A&M to form a 16-team super conference. Florida State has also been mentioned as a possible target of the SEC, according to Big 12 sources."

That would be the death of college football. The SEC would never and I mean never see another national championship again. No way a team could run through that gauntlet.

Virginia Tech to the SEC makes alot of sense imho. I've been hearing that OKlahoma & Okla St might want to go to the Pac 12

Exactly. These presidents and commissioners only care about the almighty $$$$ and their legacy/paycheck while shitting on Joe Fan. Yeah, I guess it'd be cool to see a regular season game against a fresh opponent. But making an east team go to Stillwater and Baton Rouge in the same year? In addition to making it extremely difficult for fans to attend all the games, it is going to be virtually impossible to ever win another title. The SEC champion could have 3-4 losses.
