Thank God we can voice ourselves here. Miles will never know all what we want him to, and expecially will deny the degree of our angst, but it is a bit more easy to avoid booing knowing we can express our displeasure here

No wonder we havent pulled a fricking QB in years. No matter who's playing, as soon as the qb makes a mistake, we want teh backup. If the backup doesnt play, we start to boo. You can track this all the way back to 08 after this spoiled fricking fanbase expected every year to win a god damn championship.
Why on earth would any qb want to come here to play for shitty arse fans. They could very well go to another school just because they are treated better. I dont blame them.
QBs are not coming to this school because of the people that are getting booed: Miles because he kept Crowton around, Crowton because he sucks, and JJ because he can't execute Crowton's sucky play calling.
If the play calling and execution didn't suck, more QBs would be interested in playing here. And if the play calling and execution didn't suck, the fans wouldn't boo.
Most top-level winning QBs are arrogant enough to think that the crowd would never boo them because they wouldn't be that bad.

I do find it a bit hypocritical in a way ... the Athletic Director is the main ramrod to pushing corporate seating, rising prices, etc. that are pricing the average blue-collar LSU fan out of
Tiger Stadium.
Alleva's Athletic Department is eroding and destroying the atmosphere at Tiger Stadium a helluva lot more than fans booing.
SOLID!

So for the folks against booing would you be in favor of a chant for Lee?
Wasn't someone bitching about cheering when he came in the game? Saying that it was too loud and they couldn't hear on the field. So, booing is out, cheering is out....maybe just a sign that says "applause" would be in order.

Unfortunately, I'm in SOCAL and don't have the priveledge of watching the games in Tiger Stadium. I've done my fair share of screaming at the TV, however. I hate to hear the booing over the TV, but I hate even worse the apparent need to voice such disapproval. Frankly I don't buy the argument that we're ruining recruiting or that the players on the sideline look up in disbelief with no idea why the mean ol fans would be grumbling. These kids have played football their entire lives and know that what's being seen on the offensive side of the ball for the second straight season is not what's expected and is not conducive to winning big games against quality opponents.
I won't resort to name calling, but the assertion by a couple on here that the crowd reaction is more important to recruiting than being part of a winning team just seems silly.
I really don't give a damn who they put behind center as long as the group is successful. Like many others, it pisses me off to no end that we appear to have such outstanding talent and can't seem to put the pieces together to make it work. I know this site is full of football geniuses and I don't claim to have a fraction of their football prowess, so can someone explain to me how small time programs can manage to make the most of their second tier talent and execute plays that suit their personnel when we can't seem to with world class talent and mega millions worth of coaching?

OKST crowd booed last night when OKST took a knee before half, instead of throwing a hail mary. And their crowd was loud most of the game.

Pfffttt! Say goodbye to your 2011 recruiting class.

I think it has its place. I don't think the coaches read message boards, and the call-in shows are screened. That being said, I don't think I could ever boo the tigers.

I think this letter was needed.

Start a chant JA-RETT LE-EE clap clap...clap clap clap.
again JAR-RETT LE-EE clap..clap clap, clap, clap. It might be annoying at first but if it gets louder the CBS annoucers will comment and Miles would feel some pressure through positive reinforcement.

Dear Offensive Coordinator Crowton:
Jordan Jefferson can't run the option or the option read. Quit calling them. Let Shephard run the option if you run it at all. It didn't work at LaTech or Oregon and it didn't work at BYU (One good season in 01' doesn't count).
You should be fired. You have the most talented players in the nation and you get nothing out of them (106th ranked offense).
I'll leave you with a Bear Bryant (i know its bear, but our winning-est coach of all time studied under bryant)quote that should inspire:
"I think the most important thing of all for any team is a winning attitude. The coaches must have it. The players must have it. The student body must have it. If you have dedicated players who believe in themselves, you don't need a lot of talent."
We do have talented players! We need talented coaches!

The UGA crowd booed loudly during the Arky game there. Not defending the action, but it's not like LSU is the only place this happens.

if we were 0-4, i could understand the booing.

Good for Joe Alleva.
I agree with this wholeheartedly.
If you can't support the Tigers, sit on your hands and keep your whining, booing mouth shut.
Jesus folks, LSU is 4-0 and heading into the meat of their schedule.
So the offense hasn't shown us much, they are still winning.
Let's see how the rest of the season plays out before we decide what kind of team this year's version is.
They are still a DAMN STRONG bunch and we should be happy they are.

You damn idiots that boo at a game, how do you know that the LSU players actually know that the boos are not directed at them but at the coaching staff. Keep up your excellent work because word has it here in Alabama that Saban and Coach Cheese Nip are using the fans booing as a motivational tool to recruit some of Louisiana's top players. I heard that Saban asking them why would they want to play for a school that doesn't appreciate their talents. Keep telling yourselves that the players and recruits DEFINITELY know that the boos are directed at the coaching staff.

are you really this stupid?????
you dont see a difference between players in the heat of the battle hearing boos from their home fans and reading critism in the newspaper?

I agree with Joe, stop booing.
