Although, my recent trip to the restroom suggest that I'm now lower than 171.7.
I always get a kick out of seeing the difference on the scale on trips like that

Diet's not been great this week. Work has completely taken over my time and life all week.

Dont get down though. I am sure you are still doing enough to maintain or slowly lose. I am down to 182.5 and I didnt think I did all that well over the past 7 days.

I guess I can get rid of the goal now
Over the last week I've changed up my diet substantially and I've gone from 1700ish to 2700ish while doing p90x3. That is what their nutrition plan calls for at my weight and it's been working great. Eating that much food has been difficult and scared the piss out of me when I finally decided to bite the bullet and go for it, but I can't argue with the results. I've actually dropped from about 212 and some change at the start of the week.

Headaches last about a week.
After that, you're good to go.

No.
And after 3 and a half years of dieting, I wouldn't recommend sticking to keto very long. You'll destroy your ability to eat even a moderate amount of carbs without putting on weight. It's taken a lot of time for me to be able to ingest 150g/day without ballooning. I have to slowly, gradually increase it. Looking back, I'd do things a little differently. That said, Atkins was the diet of choice for my first 70-ish pounds I lost and it will work, and work well.

And this is a huge change of position for me. I used to be an extremely staunch supporter of keto/low carbing, even going as far as saying carbs are basically poison for your body. But carbs, in moderation and eaten based primarily around workouts, can be good.
