Sayers isn't one of the choices, PJ. Do your homework. And try some reading comprehension. Brian Piccolo made Gale Sayers famous.

Experts pick Jim Brown as the best running back just like film critics call Citizen Kane the greatest film of all time. A Generation from now both will be forgotten.

I think JB is one of the few athletes that transends time. He was the best then and probably would be the best in todays game. Wilt is probably another.

Assuming Brown is the best, the second best I ever saw in his prime was OJ. A big back that could do it all. Unreal speed for a man his size.

Jim Brown is not only the greatest RB of all-time, he's also the greatest FB player of all-time.

Different eras.

Jim Brown would be good in any era, today we call him Adrian Peterson. He is the GOAT.

It really irritated me when Brett Favre and Peyton Manning at the time were tied for 3 NFL MVP awards ESPN analysts would always refer to them as the only two players that have achieved this feat, completely forgetting that Jim Brown had done it first a long time ago.

Barry walked away

So did Brown. They both quit before they had the slide like Emmitt, Franco and every other back.

Have to go with JB -

No doubt Sanders was great, but I'd put Payton ahead of him.

OJ was, sadly, probably the best.

I say sadly, because I don't like murderers.

You said "slice your throat" in a thread where OJ was mentioned? NICE.
