Yea...wouldn't hurt my feelings for this dude to leave. Do we really need Bates/Fordham on this team when we're stacked in LA next year? More ships...the better. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Johns/Rocky D/Blackmon gone too.

I don't think any of these guys will see anything but ST. They've shown nothing on film, IMO.

Don't hate on Blackmon. Miles could mold him into another Pep Levingston: a sleeper recruit who starts 9 games and makes 24 tackles with 0 sacks on the season!!!

AMazing that a Coach would be so inept in recruiting and developing talent at a position that he played in college.

but les miles is an offensive line guru!!!!!!!!!

I may be wrong but I detect sarcasm in this statement...because I find it extremely difficult to take Les seriously on any of his thoughts around the offensive line. Isn't he the one who stated, prior to the season, that this was the most physical offensive line he has ever seen at LSU?
Sorry, Les...but I've seen better!

physical offensive line

Physical does not mean good For all we know that could have meant that this line had the highest combined squat max of any line he had coached before.

Fordham is a player -- quick feet ,strong, and is now about 270. We will also sign one other OL and one DL in this class.

Who says? We are sitting at 24 right now. If we sign a full 28, we might not fit in another OL. We will sign atleast 2 more WRs, and 1 DL. Unless the right OL comes along, I don't think we sign another one.

OL is probably Moses or bust for this year.I don't think we would take Robinson and I don't know of anyone else we are after.

more than any other postition, offensive line is the hardest to project. It's a position you need to sign a lot of guys, redshirt them, forget about them, put them on steriods, stick them in the weight program, then re check on them when they are juniors and seniors and see which ones have turned into monsters and are ready to dominate. I would like to see Miles recruit more lineman in every recruiting class than what he does.

He is up to 270 lbs now. Wasn't he at 230 lbs before the season started?

we definitely need long snappers on scholarship

I don't know if this is sarcasm or not, but if NFL teams carry a long snapper on a 53-man roster, I think a college team can squeeze one into an 85-man roster. Especially if he can also play other special teams positions and be a back-up center or tight-end.
