Probably one of the Arab stores around Tigerland, if you don't mind serving Natty Lite to your guests.

Catering Kegs off on some little back street near Gardere and Burbank had a pretty good selection the last time we went. The prices depend on what you're looking for.

little back street near Gardere and Burbank is NOT what you want to hear for a business location! Guess you just go in the daytime. What does a keg of Bud Light or Miller Lite go for there?

Albertsons at Bluebonnet/Burbank.

All prices are posted on the wall in the Liquor Dept. above the register.

They are usually about 10-15 more than other places I've bought from. They also deliver kegs, 1 keg Bud Light delivered runs about $150

this place was the only place in BR that would get us a keg of Guinness for our St. Patricks Day party, and the accompanying special tap to pour the Guinness correctly. it actually isn't as "ghetto" as you all may think. I was surprised too. The building is plain and white, with no identifiable markings. Definately go during the day, but you dont drive through any residential area to get there.

oh, and the guy actually came out to our house (we lived in meadow bend, close) when we couldn't get the special tap to work. Good customer service!

I have heard of that place. Good place for green beer for st. pats. I used to work in the liquor dept of albertsons on college and they have a pretty wide selection and are reasonable. The only place I have seen where you can get andygator kegs.

that had to include ice, cups, and a delivery fee

When I lived there catering kegs was my go to spot for Abita kegs. They were a little more than everyone else but the taps always worked and the beer was always good. I liked giving them by business. They don't take credit cards or out of state checks.
