switch hub brands
I read last night that wink doesn't do the coding work for support until a brand pays them to do it... That's why you don't have Sonos for example. Is that true? If so I might reconsider this thing which sucks because I threw the box away. ...

That $60 Lutron sounds better and better. I want my "wake up" shortcut to turn on my living room TV to the news and have it turn off when I leave the house. How do I go about that? My first thought was a harmony remote but I don't think they work with wink...

re: Official WINK HUB Home Automation thread - bryso
It's done within the app so any of the wink compatible switches will do that. I have my outside lights on a sunset/sunrise schedule. https://www.wink.com/products/#/dimmers-switches-and-outlets I use the Lutron casetas because they do the require a neutral and I live in an old house. Overall...

Well I randomly got it to link the time into the flow line by a stroke of luck. It seems like it is very precise with dragging and dropping things. When I went to enable it I got a timeout error. I think I'll leave this one along until they get a little more serious with the Android App. ...

I downloaded the app but can't figure out how to string things together. I guess this is part of the problem. Looks like it has potential though. I'm assuming your phone needs to be running in order for this stuff to work? Does that eat up battery life?...
