Haynesville at Homer

Oldest rivalry in Louisiana. They’ve played each other for over 100 years. Both once competed at the highest classification. Changing demographics over the years have relegated them to the lowest level, but the game still has huge implications.

I made this list in the off-season… Haynesville did from 1937 to 1955. (The highest class was codified in 1937). Homer never did

Catholic vs Zachary for the Battle of Baton Roug

Too bad they are playing at that shite hole. That field is unsafe and the stadium is a dump.

The Delhi Charter/Sicily Island game has been canceled due to lack of healthy players for SI. SI then made the decision to discontinue their football program going forward. That’s sad that a program died out.

Doyle HS needs to start playing football. Class 3A enrollment and a gang of good baseball players.

For the 2nd time. I’m surprised Tensas is still hanging on.

I saw someone connected with the program confirm that it was done for other sports to be more competitive. I was not aware that the LHSAA required all sports to participate at the same level if you play up in football. They do still plan to schedule teams like Acadiana and Ruston etc. out of conference, according to that guy.

Chs offered a deal with brec to make improvements to memorial
Brec didn’t come to terms

I think brec has a plan to improve memorial and goldsby and connect the two venues in some fashion

You have both the rougarou and brcc using the baseball field

PA system is worse than the scoreboard but they are both horrible.

Bunkie VS Marksville for the 72nd time. Bunkie holds the series lead in the Battle for the Catskin. With a win the Panthers are projected as the 5 seed in NS D3.

Central of Larto is way out there in the boondocks.

Harrisonburg demographics are opposite of Sicily Island and Block.

This topic was brought up on the Louisiana High School Sports Facebook page.

Administrators from Harrisonburg got heated quickly.
