Just purchased a 2024 Tundra TRD Pro. Looking for a bed cover. Any recommendations?

First off, I don’t usually use the bed of my truck for carrying much, except for groceries, luggage, etc. Nothing of a heavy duty nature. Having a cover that is good at keeping the bed dry is a must have. I don’t really need anything that remote retracts, as I likely won’t be sliding it back that often and that feature is an added expense.
I do like the functionality of the Retrax pro XR with the ability to mount attachments to the frame.
I am also considering a pop up cover but I don’t really care for the profile look of these, as they appear to sit up higher on the bed. I would guess that these are better at keeping the bed free from water, as they don’t have as many areas where water can seep through.
For those who have trucks with bed covers, what do you have and what are the pro’s and con’s of what you have? Also, If you had to do something else, with money as no obstacle, what would you do differently?

The con is a cover turns your bed into a trunk and you might as well have got an SUV

Way more storage than a SUV.

This was my dilemma with getting a truck as I have always been a SUV person. I considered a Sequoia but I didn’t care for the cargo configuration. The wife and I might be getting a pull behind RV in the future and felt like a truck would best fit the need for pulling. All my kids are driving, so hauling them around, like in the past, wasn’t necessary. The Tundra truck just offered more cargo capacity, when you take into account not needing the extra seating. I just need the ability to cover any of the items I put in the bed.

I recently just put one on my truck. I had never wanted one because I felt I wouldn't be able to just "throw something in the bed". I'm glad I got it though. It's super easy to still throw stuff back there and not worry about it getting wet. I have a Tyger tonneau from Amazon. I went cheap because I didn't know if I would like it or not. Not sure how long it will last but I like it so far.

Lomax tri fold. Super easy to just take it out when you need your truck to be a truck and keeps your stuff dry when it’s there. Can fold open without blocking your back window as well.

I was worried about that when I got my first cover a few years ago, now I won’t go without one. I have the retrax and roll it up as needed.

I don’t have one on my truck. Think it would be nice at times but more times than not I have too much stuff in it.
If I were to get one I’d look hard at the Diamondback.

I have the Lomax trifold on my truck and love it. Had it a little over a year and it’s very dry, easy to fold up. Didn’t lose any bed space with it like a roll up. Also don’t need a separate key for it.
I use my bed a lot for everything from golf clubs to lumber and this is out the way in a sec but dry if I’m carrying golf clubs or luggage.

Tyger bed cover off Amazon. IMO it has all the functionality of a retrax/back flip cover, but rolls up and takes no space away when you need the bed. Only con I can find is you can’t stand on it, but I have no need to.

I've had the roll up style on a 5.5' foot bed and with the amount you lose for the canister it isn't worth it to me. On my current truck I have the MX4 and I much prefer it.

I have the Toyota tonneau cover and it works for my needs. I do use mine as a truck, so sometimes u have to remove it completely since it doesn't flip up at the back, which makes it a bit of a pain to deal with.

This is what I have on mine. It does leak a little but not enough the get anything soaked. If it can't get wet I'll put it in a garbage bag or something. I like it because I can easily remove the whole thing in less than 5 minutes.

Has anyone tried the Rough Country flip covers? They seem to be priced cheaper than other brands.

Their HD is easily the best bed cover available. I've had them on the last five trucks I've owned, including the current trucks.
They don't let anything in, they're the most secure option I've seen, and the carrying capacity has been useful. Lots of accessories for storage, too.
