I’m seriously debating getting a diamondback cover. I didn’t think I would like the way it opens but the ability to remove the panel, if you need a part of the bed open, is a plus.

I have a ‘23 and I’ll be getting a Diamondback HD or a camper shell, I can’t decide at the moment.

I have the BakFlip MX4 on my 2017 Tundra. It’s been great and I would buy it again

Yep, it's pretty easy to do, too. When I don't feel like putting the bike rack on the truck, which is almost always, I can just pull a panel off. I've also just disconnected the struts, flipped the rear panel over on the cover, and strapped it down. If you need the entire bed open for something, I can get the whole thing off in under five minutes.

I use it to stand on when cleaning our roof and solar panels on the trailer. We've set up chairs and the Solo Stove to watch movies at drive-in theaters, fireworks, etc.

It also gives you better access to items stored against the cab than some other bed covers. I have a couple of their storage bins for storing smaller items, mounts for an axe and a rifle, and installed anchors to lock storage cases to the top of the rack.

Moved from a Tahoe to a pick up in 2010, I do a lot of traveling from Florida back to Georgia with my wife and son and needed the dry storage so I went with the bed cover and its been great. Other than towing, I honestly dont use the truck as a truck much. More of a daily drier and two vehicle for my boat.

I bought the Roll n Lock from the dealer where I got my truck, friends dealership, and it has been fine now for 3years. I get a few drips of water around one of the edges when it pours but not enough to worry about. Easy to close it and I have not had a single issue with it

The con is a cover turns your bed into a trunk and you might as well have got an SUV

As an SUV owner and a truck with a cover owner I disagree. I can still throw tons of dirty greasy crap or trash in the back of my truck and not ruin my interior, plus I can retract the cover and pile even more crap in there.

I looked at the Bakflip mx4. It’s really nice . I wasn’t sure I wanted to drop that $$ on something I wasn’t sure I’d like. I got a Tyga roll up one off Amazon a year ago for less than 200 and it’s been fine. I may upgrade one day. It don’t see the need currently. I don’t store stuff in the bed so security isn’t an issue for me. It’s nice having a cover on a road trip or going back home for a hunt . Keeps everything out of the cab. I’ve had no leak issues yet. I have a 2017 Tundra Limited.

I got a roll-up cover (velcro sides) very soon after I got my 2004 Tundra and I've loved it. It's getting a few tears starting, but it's nearly 20 years old and has been down more than a few roads.

It's not 100% waterproof, but it's close enough. If I am going to be traveling a long distance in a downpour, I'll just put the things I don't want to get wet in trash bags. There is very little leakage -- and I'm talking about 600+ mile drives in the rain.

It also lets you "hide" things so there is less worry about someone walking off with items in the back of your truck.

And, by improving the aerodynamics, it has long since paid for itself in gas savings.

I do roll it up now and then, but mostly it's covering the bed and it basically turned my double cab into an SUV with a huge trunk, which makes it easy for my wife to pack (just throw everything you can think of in the back).
