re: Bed covers for truck - WilsonPickett
I have a roll n lock and I do like it alot but it's not waterproof.... it will leak at the corners in heavy rains almost every time. It keeps the bed contents dry enough. I like being able to open in and run with no bed cover if I need to. Had an undercover on my 07 Titan and it was OK, very dry...

re: Update: It's working! Rebuilt Husqvarna 55 Rancher - WilsonPickett
I'd pay $350 to fix the 15 yr old 455 Rancher rather than buy a new one. That saw is made so much better than todays equipment its not even close!! ...

re: Know anyone get into boat ownership at a older age without prior experience? - WilsonPickett
Bought my 1st boat 3 yrs ago at 39! Purchased a 2009 Nautic Star 1910 and dont regret it for a min! I had some basic boat knowledge from my childhood (9-10 yrs old) but hadnt been in a boat in 20+ yrs. My son and i have had some great times in the boat. It was a great decision and weve had some ...

re: If Players Aren't Going to Make It In the NBA, Why Not Stay? - WilsonPickett
Many are not in school for a dregee. If he can make decent money in Europe and still work towards his NBA dream, why not? He doesnt have to pass History 201 to keep playing either! Many everyday students leave college to go to work and dont finish their degree or go back later. ...

re: Married w/ kids OT--does your family take priority over your parents - WilsonPickett
Engineers, Lawyers and businessmen can be living month to month just like the plumber or janitor!! They can also just be selfish pricks. If my mom wanted or needed a laptop for any reason I'd buy it tomorrow, no questions asked! Wife wouldn't say a thing, of course I'd do same thing if her mom neede...

re: Anyone remember butterfly knives? - WilsonPickett
I remember in 8th grade (1986) they took us on a school field trip to New Orleans and just about every boy on the bus bought one from the French Quarter! We were all slinging them in the way back to school! Image if that happened today?!? LOL...

re: 12 yo Tournament Baseball practice - WilsonPickett
Don't swing a -3 bat at 12? That's stupid. You're body will be ready for a drop 3 when it's time. A lot of physical maturity happens between 12 and 14-15, when you'll need to swing a -3. My son used a -8 at 12, -5 at 13 and used a -3 the fall before HS, perfect progression. Why screw up your 12 yr s...

re: 12 yo Tournament Baseball practice - WilsonPickett
We did 3 days a week the first 2-3 weeks of practice to start to season but then cut back to 2 a week. If we were playing tourneys then sometimes we'd just get together midweek for hit around and infield. Take a week off mideason or so to get away from the game and have some fun! My son is a Fre...

re: Guy kills muskie fish on video, may get in trouble - WilsonPickett
Fished Sabourin Lake in Canada this past fall for trophy northern pike 36"+. We were trollin top water plugs behind the boat that looked like large dildos with propellers on them! We're casting and retreiving also with the same style bait about 6-7" long... retrieve it as fast as you could, BAM, top...
