The critics/reviewers that have similar taste as myself have given it positive reviews.
Going Sunday with the family and I'm sure we're going to enjoy it as we have the others.

I don't know if its fatigue or just that they haven't really advanced things in last few phases at all...though I haven't seen Quantamania yet
I partially blame the streaming series, while not terrible (except the captain america winter soldier one) they ultimately ended up in disappointment among fans due to the lack of big reveals
Then the two I had high hopes for that would move things forward, Thor and Dr Strange were not particularly good at all
You can call it fatigue I guess but they're just not putting out very good content right now, its not bad but its not motivating me to put out money for it either

Just watched it, best MCU movie since No Way Home and may be better than it. Great end for the Guardians trilogy. It is completely a Guardians movie, there is no set up for other MCU stuff, unless a credit scene has it, credits still rolling.

Loved that movie.
Easily the best (with Spider-Man No Way Home) movie since End Game.
Everyone did such a great job.
I know this matters to some but not really any of the force fed political woke shite in this movie at all.

Saw it tonight. Those worried about it being disappointing, don’t. It’s very good and wraps up the trilogy well. Definitely the best Marvel movie since No Way Home. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and screw those critics they’re brain dead. Only negative was the cool Rocket popcorn bucket at AMC. Wanted to buy it and thought, it’s going to be stupid expensive, $25, $30 bucks. Nope…$50 bucks. I left it there for someone else.
Oh yeah. As someone else already mentioned, no woke crap which was another plus.

Great movie, all around.

A James Gunn Master piece! Well paced, beautiful cinematography, eye catching sets and costumes, awesome fight scenes, great comedy and soundtrack. This saved marvel from their lackluster slate recently.

Fun movie. Always nice to see a marvel movie that is pretty self-contained.

Good to see it is living up to what I hoped it would. We aren't going to see it until Sunday, but ya'll can post spoilers in this thread now if you want to discuss it.

Can someone refresh my memory on gamora. She died in endgame right? How is she back?
Posted on 5/5/23 at 7:44 am to Civildawg
No, she died in Infinity War, she "came back" in Endgame. Its Gamora from a different timeline, the Gamora that we knew from previous films is still dead.

I liked it better than Vol. 2, but not as much as the original.
While I get where they were going with a 70s/80s/90s progression on the music, this was the weakest soundtrack of all 3, by far. Vol. 2's opening scene with Mr. Blue Sky was hard to top.
The Rocket flashback scenes had legit tearjerker moments.
I have no comics-based frame of reference for Adam Warlock, so what the MCU gives us is all I have to go off of, but I wasn't expecting him to be a partially-baked manchild. I know that Ayesha says the High Evolutionary pulled him from the pod early, but that needed a bit more fleshing out.
It would've been nice to see some exposition on HE learning of Rocket's survival, going to the Sovereign, yanking Adam out early, etc.

Forgot to add: Cosmo joining the roster was a great, great move. Love her voice.

The upside is there will probably be that in an additional project

Definitely a good dog.
I can see why the MSM didn’t like it. The villain is black and it has a pro-life message.
I enjoyed it. I just hope they don’t screw up Star-Lord’s return.
