wife and I just got to see Guardian 3 - man it was good.
and Kudos to Gunn for not mailing it in - he knew he was leaving the MCU for DC, and with SS and Peacemaker goign at the time of setting up Guardians 3 - I appreciate he gave it his full attention and ended the trilogy in the right way.
and GDMIT Cosmo is a GOOD DOG!

what an interesting movie, but overall great. the animal torture scenes were brutal…the space colon and counter earth were both so visually cool
loved finally being able to understand Groot, we’re all part of the gang now (my wife didn’t understand that part but I think it was pretty obvious that was the intent)

Saw the movie in 3D last night. Only one other person in the theater. Perfect.

My girlfriend and I finally saw it over the weekend and loved it. Seeing Nathan Fillion was awesome - and now I’ll need to introduce her to Firefly at some point.
Wish Cosmo’s voice was the voice actor from the video game, but whoever it was still did a good job. In the game it was so stereotypically Russian and I loved it.

Pretty good movie. 3.5 stars.
Much better than the 2nd one.
Not the kind of movie you need to see when a close family member is on their death bed. Like I just did. That was tough.

To be fair, the film did reinforce that mistaken interpretation by Quill repeatedly asking if she truly remembers nothing.
Biggest thing for me was getting pretty tired of the kill fakes in the movie.
Peter’s was the worst. Was exposed a lot longer than Yondu, but we still have time for a group hug rather than an immediate med pack.

Watched this last night and really liked it. This was probably my favorite of the 3 and I think Marvel movies have been absolute dogshit since End Game.

Really enjoyed it. The first 20 minutes or so seemed kinda hollow but it quickly improved, gelled, and off we go!

i finally got around to watching GOG3
it wasnt terrible, it wasnt all that good, but it was "just ok", despite all the BS posted here about how bad it was.
some of the shite posted here was true, but a lot was just made up BS and not even true, like rocket dying when he didnt.
it was really just a movie about rockets back story of how he was made, and its not really another GOG movie, which is why i think so many had complained about it.
they turned rockets story into a movie that could have been a lot better than what they made, and its still a little too damn cheesy for my liking, but all of their movies were cheesy, but i went in not expecting much, and i really liked this movie
