Can I use a pot of seasoned crawfish water the next day?

Had a sack leftover and plan to boil it today. Can I re use the seasoned water or is there some kind of spoilage I have to worry about.

Agree with the above. Between the salt and boiling you should be fine. We all reuse grease all the time.

yes but leave it covered overnight to keep bugs out and be sure to preboil it to a rapid boil for at least 5 minutes to kill any bacteria that might have formed. do that before doing anything with it and you are good.

I can’t imagine there would be anything that would grow overnight in the pot that would be worse than the swamps that the crawfish are coming from.

Boiling does not kill certain spores that bacteria may have produced. That being said, I think the risk of spores is almost null, but it is something that exists.
If you’re adding vegetables and/or fruit to the boil, you are introducing more bacterial possibilities. They may breakdown and decompose in the warm water. Your pot is going to stay hot for multiple hours which is a huge risk. Again, in this scenario, I don’t think the risk is high, but it exists.
Why would you even want to reuse the water? It sounds nasty. Just buy a new sack of seasoning and start fresh.

Not worth the risk IMO. A fresh pot of water and seasoning will cost you what, $15 and 20 minutes of time?

You can, but I wouldn't use it

I've been known to boil 3 sacks in my 80 qt. pot----one at a time mind you. By the time I get to sack #3 I'm going to do a total water change and start fresh.
I season the water hard for the first boil, add some seasoning for the second boil, but not as much as boil #1 and when that boil is done, the water is looking like 4 coal miners took a bath in it so it has to go.
You're talking less than $15 worth of seasoning blend and some fresh vegetables for the boil. Not going to break the bank to change it all out and start new.
