i've been gone from LC for many years now, but, growing up, saturday morning drive to Dino's in westlake was a family tradition. We'd pick up chocolate covered, apple fritters and boudin kolache. Good memories.

Mary Lee apple fritter is the best apple fritter out there. All others are shite. Unfortunately I live in Houston.

I’m a big fan of the old fashioned ones they have a lot of the donut shops. Kinda crispy crust that you can get in glazed, cinnamon, plain, or chocolate.

My favorite, also. Their kolaches are awesome too.

Meche’s chocolate or glazed and a boudin kolache for the win in Lafayette.

Back in the day heading to the Weat Bank and then the fishing camp in Lafitte, it used to always be McKenzies raisin rolls w icing

Same. Various assortment of donuts for the kids. The wife likes those blueberry cake donuts if she wants anything at all. One or two spicy sausage kolaches and a cup of black coffee for me.
