The kids love the holes, and an eclare w/no filling.

Wife loves Bagnets

Personally i like plane and simple choco glaze or regular glaze.

I use to love catching the hot light donuts in Morgan City. They had some choco covered bowties. Those things were top notch. Probably the only thing I miss about MC. Or even worth missing.

I would agree with you 100%, except for the fact that I can't drive all the way to Lafayette from east of Atlanta on a Saturday morning for a donut.
You literally CAN.

You do realize that this is not the O-T on TallapoosaTigerTails.com?

Nah that shite is terrible. Tastes like a sponge soaked in grease. Dont even think about getting chocolate. Somehow they make chocolate taste like shite.

All the cambodian bakeries that are taking over are horrible also.

My favorite is from rays bakery in eunice. Their chocolate donut is the best ive ever had.

Haskells in Monroe and The Donut Shop in Natchez may have the best donuts IMO. Nothing like half a dozen hot and fresh glazed donuts from Haskells.

At one time Mr Ronnie’s in Houma had the best glazed donuts. But they’ve seemed to go down hill.

Used to do Mary Lee glazed but now I prefer Delicious Donuts down Lee - less crowded and fluffier

I'm not the biggest fan, because I prefer "doughy" donuts, but when they are hot and fresh, they are very good.

KK used to have a location on Siegen Lane in BR (AT&T now occupies this spot). The KK location is in a terrible spot in Baton Rouge, but they must do very well, just like Tony's Seafood.

If Tony's ever came to the south side of BR and located by a hospital, they would clean up on plate lunches out the door.

Shipley’s ask them for a hot glazed. Can’t comment to the ones in BR but they are good and exponentially better than southern maid.

Any donut place where the sign isn't "DONUT" in a strip mall with faded HS basketball schedules on the wall is garbage

Apple fritter is tough to beat. Love a powdered sugar donut as well.

I see a few recs for Southern Maid. We talking about the place on 73, because I’ve always been disappointed with them.

That said, their Apple fritters suck, so maybe I should try something else.

Shipley’s can’t be beat. At least not since Ronnie’s shut down
