LSU for football and baseball...
Not so much basketball
Not so much basketball

At the moment, Florida, but it's not like there are light years of separation when you get down to it; there are a few programs that could vault over them in short order--
LSU, if they had their act together in basketball, would, to me, be the hands down best. Unfortunately, they seem to treat a basketball like a misshapen football; when I say LSU basketball is bad, I mean it is TCU with 5 white dudes in the 80s bad. I wonder how long LSU fans will tolerate that, when other schools are putting forth serious efforts to improve.
Arkansas has finally righted the ship in football, and has put out a high quality baseball product over the last decade, though still needs to break through with a CWS win to be at the LSU-South Carolina table, with Florida actually being even closer to knocking that door down, having lost in the title game twice in the past 6 years. The basketball team has been positively mundane the past decade, and is still two years from being a mainstay in the conference, at best.
Alabama, by contrast, is kicking butt and taking names on the football field, and has made huge strides in basketball over the last 10 years; unfortunately, their baseball squad has somewhat stagnated, and it probably keeps them on that LSU level, or a step behind it with Arkansas and Tennessee.
MSU baseball is going backwards, which I think is sad; I've always enjoyed MSU baseball. In football, they're getting better, but it's a hard road to hoe when you are the 5th best team in a 6 team division. In basketball, they're probably the 2nd to 4th most successful program of late, depending on how you care to measure-- KY, FL, MSU, and TN are pretty clearly the Big 4 in round ball at this time.
Tennessee is a solid baseball program, but is prone to up down rises and slides. Pearl took their basketball further than it has ever been before, but to some, the outlook there is bleak, though their football future does look promising in a weak SEC-E.
South Carolina is sort of the Eastern Version of LSU; they're getting better football success than ever before, if not having a BCS game berth in hand, and their baseball acumen is undoubtedly at the top of the SEC--- but the basketball thing is not always pretty- in the good years, they are NIT champs, in the bad years, they're better than LSU, at least...
Vanderbilt is dragged down by it's football, and Kentucky has never made a CWS--- plus their football program seems to be slipping a bit. Georgia is solid, if not spectacular in football and can be very good in baseball, dependent on the year (usually, even numbered years = Georgia Baseball is hoss) ; their basketball team is inconsistent, though better than it was at any time since Harrick left them in shambles.
In summation, a dynamic coach in any one of the sports could change the 'best' dynamic; a great hire for LSU basketball, a resurrection of Alabama baseball, Georgia finding some consistency in each sport, or even South Carolina finding a firmer footing in the Darrin Horn era could very quickly change the pecking order.

Florida has been the best year in and year out.

That post took waaayyyy too long to spell FLORIDA.

It's easily florida. If lsu had even a decent basketball team, we'd be right there with em.

If we could stop choking in the Super Regionals and get to Omaha at least once i think you could consider Ole Miss an elite-ish type of baseball program.
If I'm not mistaken Ole Miss is either 1st or 2nd in wins over the last decade in SEC baseball. I could be wrong though.
Every other sport blows at the moment

And done absolutely nothing at all in the post season with those padded records; the last Ole Miss CWS berth was in 1972; during the last 15 years, the SEC has dominated the CWS, but Ole Miss has been conspicuously absent.
Alabama: 3 berths
Arkansas: 2 berths
Auburn: 1 berth
Georgia: 4 berths
Florida: 5 berths
LSU: 8 berths, 4 titles
Tennessee: 2 berth
Vandy: 1 berth
MSU: 3 berths
South Carolina: 5 berths, 2 titles
Kentucky and Ole Miss are the least successful SEC baseball programs right now.

Right now, Florida.
Historically, LSU is the only team in the SEC with 10 conference titles in each sport.
ETA: You could make an argument that LSU is the 3rd best SEC basketball program in conference history.

I like how you broke down all the teams even vandy but no mention of auburn and georgia

Now that we've finally got a decent coach in basketball again, Arkansas should stay in the top 2-3 spots every year IMO. We've got as good of facilities and fan support in the three major sports as anyone.

That was actually the most objective and spot on post I've ever seen by a hog fan.
