I for one do not want Chip Kelly. Word is he's a jerk, runs only 4 plays, and lacks the ability to motivate his team. Please no people!

When he went up against the best of the best from the SEC and Big Ten, he got beat and his offenses weren't that great.

He'll be facing a lot better defenses week in and week out in the SEC West than he did in the Pac 12.

First off, I remember his team smoking Wisc.. 2nd, you don't think the talent had anything to do with that?? Oregon = 3 star recruits. LSU 4-5 star recruits.
He did hammer Tennessee

You gotta stop doing that, you are killing the cherry picking stat gurus haha.

lol cherry picking

I stated how his teams did against the best of the best. He comes back with how they did against worse defenses.

My whole point is that when Chip Kelly's offenses went up against elite defenses (especially from the SEC and Big Ten), they didn't do that great. And he will be facing more defenses like that more often than he did in the Pac 12.

I mentioned them. They were the 1 in the 1-3.

Oregon had some big arse dudes by the end of Kelly's tenure. I remember reading an article saying they had as many or more players over 300 pounds than Alabama or LSU.

Will he get the same players here that Miles does? Who knows.

Kelly doesn't exactly like recruiting, and Wilson and Orgeron will likely be gone.

If your argument against Chip Kelly is that he lost to more talented teams then why do you guys love a man who couldn't beat Georgia Friggan Tech?

I don't love Jimbo. I don't love the situation LSU is in at all.

I just think Jimbo is the most likely to keep it moving. I believe he'll recruit, improve our quarterbacks and offense, win a lot of games, and compete for the West a good amount of the time.

I think Jimbo is a safe hire, but also a very good one.

This .. The butthurt was unreal in another thread when I pointed this out. Another thing to think about is we pride ourselves on putting people in the NFL and use it as a hue recruiting pitch. If he were the coach 2 years ago Buga is likely wearing crimson.

Am I missing something? Clemson runs spread also. Plus look at the backs in the NFL from Oregon.
