How bout the past 4 years? That's not all Bobby Petrino, a head coach can only do so much recruiting. It's mostly up to assistants, plus Bobby was busy fricking around and letting everyone else around him recruit.

I would be fine with Patterson, but I agree. Peterson is the perfect type of coach we need, it's just too bad he's attached to Boise State and would likely turn us down. If I were Long, I'd give him a call before anyone and offer him everything I could to come here and make him say "no."

It'll play on HV. true the nwahomepage.com is an embarrasing for a media company.
Basically a convo about the SEC, expansion, uniforms, the coaching search, Les Miles could be in play, him and Jeff go way back and they hung out at the SEC and got lots of looks. JL said anytime he was talking to a coach there were lots of folks trying to eavesdrop.
Sounds like there's gonna be a lot of interest in the job.
