If someone said the sky was blue you’d have some asinine rebuttal
The short wavelengths that scatter across the sky correspond to the colors blue and violet, making the real color of the sky a bluish purple. However, the cone cells in our eyes that detect colour aren't very sensiti...

UCONN bet on their teams and called it “buying insurance.” They could have made the same play in Vegas....

UCONN paid a $2.83 million premium and saved 2.8 million dollars.
That’s a $300k loss my brotha.
:rotflmao:
Edit: correction - I take it to mean they paid a $2.83M premium and got a $5.6M payout so they “profited” $2.8M. Still though, getting 2:1 odds on that seems too low and a silly bet.

Mike Alstott was 6’1 and ran a 4.6+ 40.
Bowers’ 40 time is similar to Peyton Hillis who was like the inverse of Bowers - a RB with receiving skills. Hillis put up over 1,000 rushing yard in one season.
But no, no way could Bowers play RB!
Yeah, we’ve seen Bowers exhibit elite ball skills an...
I wouldn’t say anyone because it’s not something that make sense in reality
It doesn’t make sense because it would take a freakish athlete with a particular set of skills to even consider it. Someone like Bowers.
Point made....

Who would you say could legitimately play RB, TE, and WR better than Bowers?...
Bowers is awesome
But he wasn’t a freak in terms of actually measurements and testing.
6’4, 240 lbs, 4.5. The average forty for a tight end in the 2023 NFL Draft was 4.75.
How many guys can legitimately play RB, TE, and WR at the NFL level?...

Bowers at 13 was the best pick of the first round. This was already a league where athletic TE’s with good hands are huge difference makers, and that will be even more the case with the banning of the hip-drop tackle. Bowers is a freak. Good luck finding a player fast enough to cover him who can als...
With the 22nd pick of the 2024 MSB NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Toledo CB Quinyon Mitchell.
Philadelphia’s cornerback position group is one of its weakest if not the weakest on the team. At pick 22, they are getting arguably the best CB in the draft.
How about just show some respect and boundaries and not do that to someone who isn’t a close friend or family member?...

Is being a top 20 QB in the NFL from season 2 to season 15, but never a top 5 QB, a bust?
I’d say no, and I think he has a good shot to accomplish that....
