Good idea. The first part is filled out well. Tried getting Admin to sticky thread or is it too far into the future?

Probably to far in the future. If we hit 3 losses before November though then you can probably sticky it.

They won't even put this thread in the Arkansas team page, much less ever sticky it. I'm sure it'll get deleted a few times before the season is over. This will be an enormous thread by Jan.

plus this seems to be a topic of interest to everyone in general. Coaches come and go but this wasn't a guy that 20-14 over last 3 years...

They don't like really long threads around here because 9 times out of 10 they turn in to IM threads. Best to just keep bumping this as needed so it doesn't get deleted.

Oh you're fine. Its when it goes on for days andthe eventual flaming breaks out that they give it the anchor. I think we'll police this well enough ourselves that that wont happen.

Charlie Strong and James Franklin would have to be the top two regional candidates that are realistic.
I would like to think that a guy like Dantonio is realistic but who knows if he wants to rock the boat on a pretty good rebuilding job already.
Then you have guys like Garrick McGee, Gus Malzahn Butch Davis and Paul Petrino that would all.probably take the job as soon as they picked up the phone.

Malzahn would be a yes to me but there is a small but vocal portion of our fanbase that despise him for numerous reasons. Seems lame to me but these are the guys that bash him mercilessly on the message boards.
Fitzgerald is a Northwestern alumn so he might be a tough pull to Arkansas.
