I think Jimbo is playing LSU but I could see Dan being interested in FSU if it opened up. How could he not? He is probably worth $4mm to us just in what he has brought to the campus; highest interest ever, stadium expansion, salesmanship to the fan base, etc., etc. But, FSU has all of that already. Jimbo makes just north of 5. Is he (Dan) worth that to them?

I think Mullen's a pretty good coach.

A change of scenery might help him get to new heights.

He would be my #1 choice if something happened with Richt. Smart #2. Fuente #3. Herman #4. Obviously there are other guys that would be ahead of those 4, but I think all 4 of those are realistic.

I think he would be dumb not to take the Georgia job if it opened up. Really hoping it doesn't.

Yeah - that one worries me the most. But I think Richt gets another year with new coordinators.

Mullen is my second choice for LSU. Home run hire for whomever gets him.

I could see FSU if Jimbo comes to LSU. I could also see USC.

Maryland, they are a powerhouse waiting to happen with the UnderArmor booster and in a power conference. Plus they got some great talent in the Maryland and New Jersey area.

I think Georgia is among the best jobs in the country.

Georgia has all of the resources of an Alabama / LSU, without the insane pressure. Richt would have been gone from LSU or Alabama years ago, IMO.

I wanted him gone after the 2010 loss to UCF, but I don't feel like now is the right time. That statement is contingent on Pruitt sticking. Our D is pretty good right now and we've played an unreal amount of true freshmen/inexperienced guys on that side of the ball. Richt's offense will not be bad for long. He's a very good offensive coach.

With that said, I don't think I could stomach another couple years of Richt if Pruitt takes a HC job.

Read we had a P5 HC reach out to us after Fedora had been linked here. No one would say the name so it may have been just a rumor, but heard it might have been Mullen. I have no link other than hearsay.

Guy on 107.5 the game was saying this. I figured it was Rich Rod though.

Pretty sure they can with their booster base led by the Under Armor guy. People don't realize that MD has a large and wealthy alumni base. Easily bigger than the money or the alumni base of Miss State.

MD has so much potential in football and being in the big ten helps them since being in the ACC meant taking on Duke and UNC and UVA in basketball and pooh-poohing football.

Well I read it as an unnamed P5 HC and RichTod and Fedora had been talked about multiple times. If it was Mullen I figure it was gonna be a posturing move.

Mullen could be very successful at a program with a brand that recruits itself.
